Washington State Parks

 

Many state parks in Washington state are open for metal detecting. There are restrictions, however. For example, the entire park is rarely open to detecting. Each park has a specific area or areas in which we can detect. Those parks that allow metal detecting have a map showing the authorized areas.

Discover Pass Free Days

Washington State Parks and the Washington Departments of Fish & Wildlife (WDFW) and Natural Resources (DNR) offer several "free days" when a Discover Pass is not required to visit these lands.
